He leads the critically acclaimed David Ades Jazz Quintet (Quartet or Trio), he is a member of The Elevators (a full-on party band based in Byron Bay that will guarantee to get the most inhibited up dancing), Mud Crab Boogie (a rip roaring swing and rockabilly band), and lastly a group that has had rave review’s from the many festivals it has performed at, The Latin Lovers (the North Coast masters of the Bossa Nova and Salsa styles).
