The Ballina Byron Gateway - closest airport - is located in Ballina (25mins south). Gold Coast Airport, is located in Coolangatta QLD (50mins north). Coach travel to Byron Bay is a popular way to travel with buses arriving regularly at the bus depot located in the centre of town. Car travel - 9 hours north of Sydney and 2 hours south of Brisbane.
