Situated on the New South Wales mid north coast, 20km north of the township of Tuncurry is the coastal area of Halliday's Point/Diamond Beach. Described as a classic Aussie beach destination, Diamond Beach has it all. Stroll along the magnificent quiet beach to Five Mile Beach, enjoy local fishing, or simply relax in peaceful surrounds taking in the 100 metre high rock formations, rock pools and eroded platforms at the foot of Diamond Head.
Blackhead Beach at Halliday's Point is patrolled during Summer and features ocean pools, excellent fishing, picnic areas with BBQ. A highlight of any trip to Diamond Beach - other than its magnificent beaches - is the rainforest walk. The walk takes in two headlands, encompasses striking coastal landforms as well as rare tracts of coastal rainforest.
