Tea Gardens, a small town renowned for its dolphin-watching cruises, is situated on the magnificent Myall River just 2.5hrs drive north of Sydney.
Linked to the town of Hawks Nest via the Singing Bridge, aptly named for the sound of the wind as it passes through the rails, Tea Gardens is a gateway to the Myall Lakes National Park.
There are many great fishing spots located around the Myall River and beaches, or you could test your skills with a bit of deep sea fishing. Tea Gardens Fishing Club can point you in the right direction.
Tea Gardens is also becoming known as a great destination for cycling, with many excellent cycling paths for you to enjoy. Bike hire available in town.
Further Information
Off the coast of Hawks Nest/Tea Gardens is Broughton Island, popular for deep sea fishing and diving, part of the Myall Lakes National Park, the island is ideal for bushwalking and picnics
