Award winning Bennett's Beach in Providence Bay is the beginning of a long stretch of beach, which enters the Myall Lakes National Park and extends north to the fishing village of Seal Rocks through a virtual wildlife corridor. The beach is effortlessly the most popular and easily accessed beach on the Myall Coast. For those interested in the infamous Port Stephens dolphins the southern end of the beach is known as a dolphins playground. There is also surf suitable for both board riders and bodysurfers.
South Bennetts Beach leads you to the Yacaaba Headland walk, your reward being fantastic views of the mouth of the Myall River across Port Stephens and north to Myall Lakes National Park. Patrolled in school holidays and weekends over the summer this beach is popular with those who enjoy 4WD touring and is situated close to parks and camping facilities.
The Hawks Nest Surf Club lies 3km from Yacaaba Head, at the southern end.
