Nelson Lodge Motel is a 2 ½ hour drive north from Sydney and a 1 ½ hour drive west to the Hunter Valley vineyards. From Sydney: Simply follow the F3 freeway to the roundabout at the end. Turn right at this roundabout towards Hexham. Take the off ramp to the left at Hexham Bridge. Go over the bridge and turn right at Tomago Road (approx 1km). Follow Tomago Road until you reach Nelson Bay Road intersection (about 15mins) then turn left. This takes you into Nelson Bay (20-30mins). Pass Bunnings on the right, you will come to a round-about with a stainless steel wave sculpture in the centre. Veer left at this round-about onto Church St. There is a police station at the next round-about, turn right here onto Government Road. Our car park entrance and reception is 50 metres on the right.
