Melaleuca Surfside Backpackers 

Lovely location. Very quiet and peaceful and the cabins are pretty sexy in the rainforesty grounds. Though you could be disturbed if you have noisy neighbours!

The proprietors are absolutely lovely and made us really welcome.
The shared facilities are a good place to just chill out or an easy way to mingle and make friends. You can cook inside but they also have made plenty of bbqs available.

Really cool place to stay - beach is across the road but you do need a vehicle to get around the Port Stephens area.
