Formally the site of the Bellangry State Forest Number 1 Fire Tower. The lookout was used to spot bushfire smoke in summer.

This magnificent lookout offers sweeping views of the catchment and forests stretching all the way to the coast. The lookout & picnic area is located in The Bellangry State Forest which is approximatley a 30 minute drive from Wauchope. The site has a long cultural history, which is central in the development of the timber industry in the area.
