Located in the mid north coast of New South Wales, Camden Haven boasts spectacular coastal and valley views, extensive waterways for boating and fishing, sweeping surf beaches, forest, bush and abundant birdlife. Camden Haven is one of a number of small towns and communities that gather around the point where the Camden Haven River runs into the Pacific Ocean. These quaint river towns have a laid back feel and attitude, making it a perfect place to take a holiday.

One of the most popular attractions, North Brother, is part of Dooragan National Park. Enjoy one of the best views on the NSW coast or do the short rainforest walk around the summit. North Brother Mountain is significant in both Australian and European history. A Dreamtime legend describes how three brothers met their fate at the hands of an evil witch and it is believed that they are buried beneath each of the mountains referred to as the Three Brothers.

Drive through Laurieton and Dunbogan and on to Camden Head, the home of Kattang Nature Reserve. Fifty-eight hectares of coastal bush bordered by the sharp vertical cliffs of Perpendicular Point await. June and July are great for bird and whale watching while August and September are spectacular for wildflowers.

• Browse the Riverwalk Markets held every 3rd Sunday at Tunis St, the Kendall Showground Markets held every 1st Sunday at Kendall or the Johns River Markets held every 2nd Saturday at Johns River
• Walk one of the tracks to Fisherman's Bluff or Flat Rock
• Fish from Point Perpendicular for Tailor, Snapper, Bream, Drummer, Jewfish or Groper
• Drive to the top of North Brother Mountain in Dooragan National Park, and drink in the view
• Surf at Rainbow & Grants Beach
• Swim at the netted tidal pools at Dunbogan and North Haven
• Launch a canoe from the historic wharf at Kendall & paddle down the river
• Sail on Queens Lake
• Picnic at Henry Kendall Reserve or hire a BBQ boat
• Stroll in the Reflective Garden at St Peter the Fisherman Church
• Enjoy the Camden Haven Music Festival held in April
