Brewarrina

0 reviews | Write a review

Brewarrina is a modern, progressive town with both an Aboriginal and early settler history.

In the bed of the Darling River are low, stone-walled fish traps used by the Aboriginal fishermen. The Shearer Monument – dedicated to outback shearers – can be seen at the front of the shire building.

Extensive landscaping and the inclusion of unusual plants and shrubs has enhanced this beautiful setting. The area has a low rainfall.
