Silverton Camels are based 25km from Broken Hill, on the Silverton Road. Offering rides to suit all ages and experience, from half hour to day/night safaris. Silverton Camels specialise in weddings, festivals, parades camel racing and tv/film work.

What better way to explore the outback, than on a camel. Silverton Camels give you the chance to view native wildlife and vegetation on all rides and safaris. On longer safaris you have the opportunity to tour through what was once the thriving mining town of Silverton. Now a ghost town surrounded by the 16,500 acre Silverton Common, Silverton Camels will take you on a tour past the old cemetery, Penrose Park, the old Silverton railway, abandoned mines and the Mundi Mundi Plains.

Silverton Camels offer you a comfortable and enjoyable ride. Harold Cannard has been working with leather and making camel saddle's for over 20 years. His experience has enabled him to design and produce a camel saddle that ensures the best comfort for the camel and rider.

There are a number of exciting tours to choose from, such as the Silverton Sunrise Trek and the Moonlight Ride. When you’re visiting Silverton or Broken Hill be sure to drop in and explore the magnificent Australian outback in style!
