Newcastle Workers Club, brought to its knees following the Newcastle Earthquake of '89, is now a 24 hour venue with a new name "Panthers Club Nova". Other famous venues include Star Newcastle (formerly The Star Hotel), The Cambridge, The Grand, The Great Northern, Surf City, The Delany, The Brewery, The Ducks Nuts, Crown and Anchor, The Lucky Country, just to name a few. Most of these venues provide gaming rooms, pool tables, food and entertainment.
