A coastal strip bounded by the Newcastle suburbs of Merewether and Dudley, this recreation area protects the last remaining remnant of coastal temperate rainforest in the Newcastle region.
Enjoy a fine series of beaches located below a large headland. Swim, surf or fish at Dudley or Burwood beaches, picnic at Dudley Beach, or walk the Yeulerbah walking track, part of the Great North Walk.

160 km north of Sydney, 5 km east of Charlestown off Burwood Road via Dudley Road, 5 km south of Newcastle via the Pacific Highway.
