Salisbury is a tiny community that is shadowed by the peaks of the Barrington Tops National Park. It is based in a rural area close to other villages such as Eccleston, Chichester and Upper Allyn. The area, located north of Dungog and Gresford is primarily agricultural with some viticulture surrounding the area.
