Rawdon Vale is situated 3 1/2 hours north of Sydney. It lies west of the towns of Barrington and Gloucester and is close to the heart of the Barrington Tops National Park. The area is a scenically magnificent place ringed by mountains. Some of the spectacular views, magic bush walks through ancient Antarctic Beech forests and stunning waterfalls are accessible from here – along with everything the World Heritage Listed Barrington Tops are famed for.

Perhaps you feel like relaxing and enjoying the simple pleasures of pure mountain water, clean air and the sounds of the land. Rawdon Vale, an established Hereford cattle area since 1845 with an historic stone homestead and other National Trust homes nearby, is one of the earliest settlements in the district. Tours of the homestead can be arranged upon request.
