Crookwell is an historic and friendly town located on the southern tablelands of NSW, about 40 kilometres from Goulburn. The town has built itself into a prosperous rural region through the production of potatoes, wool, lambs, cattle, oats, dairy products and cold-climate fruits. This wonderful cool climate has produced some spectacular gardens, which remain ablaze with colour all year round.
The streams around Crookwell are ideal for trout fishing, and fossicking for gold and sapphires and the beautiful Grabine Lakeside State Park at Lake Wyangla is a mecca for fishing, water-sports, and lazy weekends away.
The town hosts many wonderful festivals and events such as the Crookwell Country Weekend in Autumn, a Classical Winter Festival and Seasonings, a Festival of Food and Flowers in the Spring.
The town boasts a wide range of accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets.
