Gibraltar Rocks

0 reviews | Write a review

Located within the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve, Gilbraltar Rocks is part of the Gibraltar range. The lower slopes and partly cleared valley floor reflect the history of Aboriginal and European use of the area, whereas ecosystems on the heavily forested and steep sides of the Tidbinbilla Valley are relatively undisturbed.

A visit to the nature reserve is well rewarded with a climb to the summit and the infamous Gibraltar Rocks.

Be warned, the trek is steep but well worth it!

Opening Times

  • Current opening hours are 9am- 6pm, 7 days per week (longer hours during daylight saving)
  • The Reserve is open every day except Christmas Day, except for days on total fire ban
