Located half an hour from Canberra, is the small historic village of Gundaroo. Pleasantly located in the midst of rolling countryside and wooded hills, Gundaroo contains all the features of a town left in yester-year. Wander through the township and admire the preserved old hotel, a general store/post office and the three churches. The main street retains most of its charm and original character. The common is one of the few remaining functioning town commons in existence and provides an area for villagers to graze cattle.
