A spectacular display of unique Australian flora on 50ha at the base of Black Mountain. The Australian National Botanic Gardens is a beautiful relaxing place to spend a few hours or a whole day.

Enjoy an educational walk, including one that takes you among plants used by Aborigines. Wander through the rainforest area or eucalypt lawns 600 species. Take a free guided tour and complete your visit in the Hudson Cafe's pleasant outdoor area.

Opening Times

• The gardens are open: 8.30am – 5pm daily (extended to 6pm weekdays & 8pm weekends in January)
• The Public Glasshouse is open: 10am - 3pm daily
• The Visitor Centre is open : 9am – 4.30pm daily
• The Bookshop is open: 9.30am – 4.30pm daily
• The cafe is open: 8.30am – 4.30pm daily
