Located in Canberra, ANU Film Group is one of the largest film societies in Australia. Screening up to 200 movies each year, ranging from the most recent Hollywood hits, to foreign and independent films not seen elsewhere, along with classic films not seen on the big screen in years.
They offer a large wide screen, great projection equipment and a top-class Dolby Digital sound system, all of which come together providing a professional presentation all around.
An experience at the Film Group is unlike any other, audiences aren't afraid to jump at the scary bits, laugh at the funny bits, sigh at the corny bits, and really enjoy the film.
Further Information
Just like any good cinema they have a canteen that offers a range of chips, chocolates, healthy snacks, and hot and cold drinks. And if you are a bit hungrier than that, they also offer other alternatives. Run by Rotary Woden Daybreak, with the assistance of Rotaract with the money raised going towards charitable causes.
