The Crowne Plaza Hotel is for the discerning traveller. Undisturbed sleep, centrally located and genuinely comfortable, the Crowne Plaza offers the traveller accommodation in a well appointed room that is substantially larger than your average hotel room. The hotel's location is a draw card, as you are able to walk to the city centre, which has a multitude of shopping outlets, restaurants, coffee shops and major department stores.
The Crowne Plaza offers a variety of dining experiences including a delicious buffet breakfast in a tranquil location, an a la carte restaurant as well as a comprehensive room service menu.
The rooms are airy, well appointed and welcoming. They offer you space as well as comfort. The bathrooms are very well maintained and there are always enough fluffy towels!
The one negative aspect however, is the outdoor unheated pool. In the depths of a Canberra winter, it would be nice to have somewhere warm to relax after a busy day looking at the sights.
The Crowne Plaza is a good choice for those who are looking for a well appointed, centrally located hotel with plenty of character.
