Situated in the eastern Blue Mountains National Park, Tunnel View Lookout is west of Mount Portal and is named for the view of the railway tunnel constructed around the Glenbrook Gorge in 1911.
The view extends over the Glenbrook township as far as Kurrajong and the high basalt caped mounts of Mt Banks and Mt Wilson are clearly visible over 50 kilometres away.
