From a lookout platform you can watch the river plunge 210 metres at Boonoo Boonoo Falls. Swimming in the river is popular in summer. Flora & FaunaIn spring a profusion of flowering plants, such as boronia, banksia and grevillea, brightens the woodlands of this granite country.

Some include the Eastern Dwarf Tree Frog, Common Eastern Froglet, Wedge-tailed Eagle, Collared Sparrowhawk, Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo, Red-browed Treecreeper, Grey Fantail, Laughing Kookaburra, Lewin's Honeyeater, Eastern Bristlebird, Powerful Owl, Spotted-tailed Quoll, Brush-tailed Rock-wallaby, Yellow-bellied Glider, Eastern Small-eyed Snake & Red-throated Skink.
