Warrabah National Park is one of the state’s few inland river parks. Enjoy the languid atmosphere and granite scenery on the banks of the Namoi River. Pools and rapids are excellent for fishing and canoeing, and there are good opportunities for bushwalking. Animals that may be seen include Ornate Burrowing Frog, Wedge-tailed Eagle, Little Eagle, Azure Kingfisher, Rainbow Bee-eater, Speckled Warbler, Barking Owl, Swamp Wallaby, Common Wallaroo, Eastern Grey Kangaroo, Common Brushtail Possum, Nobbi, Copper-tailed Skink, Wall Lizard & Eastern Water Skink.
