Tamworth Airport is an airport in Tamworth, New South Wales, Australia.
The airport is 10 km from the town centre and is also the Northern base of the Hunter Region Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service and the location for BAE Systems Flight Training College.

The city is recognised as the "National Equine Capital of Australia" because of the high volume of equine events held in the city and the construction of the World Class National Equine and Livestock Events Centre.
