In the foothills of the Peel Ranges lies Nundle, one of many historic villages on the Fossickers Way.

Discovery of gold during the 1800s brought miners to the district. Today Nundle is still known as the 'Town in the Hills of Gold'.

  • There are plenty of relics of the gold rush era and visitors are encouraged to try their hand at fossicking.

Features

  • Visit the lookout, picnic spots or take a drive along one of the scenic drives
  • Visit the one of the local gold mines still operating.
